Now in Hillsboro, West Virginia we stay,
Providing our service to others each day.
Early began our adventure this morning;
A delicious breakfast appeared without warning!
A lounge was in order following this meal,
Though an hour-long hike soon seemed dreadfully ideal.
Upon our return, hummus sandwiches set,
We dined viciously and without much regret.
A few found solace in the comfort of the wood,
(Or chopping it with as much skill as they could!)
Others fawned over board games, cheery faces aglow,
While chattering away over fresh hot cocoa.
Those in the kitchen made chili without fears,
Trying their best to withhold from their tears.
(Onions, of course, tried to sadden their peers.)
And the vans were then packed, and the group soon to gather,
Down to Pretty Penny’s we drove, and Zach ceased not to blather.
The community worked to establish innovations
And help beautiful Hillsboro with these expectations.
Conversation ensued on six large paper sheets,
And Tyler was gladly impressed with our feats.
But much to misfortune, snow started to fall,
Thus revealing male site leaders cannot drive at all.
We arrived home safely, however, and are now tucked up in bed,
Except Helen, with an MCAT book over her head.
